The International Women in Reggae (IWIR) movement came together and quickly won the hearts and minds of the people. These are a group of powerful women from different parts of the world coming together in the name of the love for each other and Reggae music.
Fusing different cultural backgrounds, their sound can be described as a strong blend of Reggae, R&B, a touch of Rock and Funk, with a colorful but exotic Jazz overtone. Individually, each member of IWIR has worked with and traveled extensively on tours with different artiste and has learned many skill sets along the way. Because of this, IWIR is a mixture of producers, engineers, musicians, and songwriters and they are a force to be reckoned with.
